The most Intresting part about this mixtape is that you have to listen straight thru, as the artist is telling his fans a story. He sets the mood letting people recognize that he's not giving you the usuall that rappers feed to their fans with nonchalant. Backpacking is back then eyesoverears personal fav due to the rythmitic beat ,soulful medelic voice, and old school flow lost in translation basically begins the story. Boy meets girls boy is to scared to approach girl, as the mixtape goes on he mans up and they develop some form of relationship with track sweater . But just his luck she's with somebody else being the gentlemen he is he lets her know if you need anything just call. With track ca for love the girl basically plays him && he does a complete 360. With tracks Tracy && get high. He still ends up with the wrong woman with tracks lately , who's fucking you , fridgerator, do you know , diamonds && gold ,Sabrina. He finally meets the right girl , ending the mixtape.
After Hearing the mixtape and understanding the story behind it all, of course we wanted to know more. Wasion key describes the start if his journey as "a tone def aspiring r&b amateur hence the name (was I on key )
To becoming a self proclaimed word slinging harmony stacking hip hop && r&b staple. Wasion key wrote all the songs for the mixtape with help from Rey mula on a few tracks. Of course we wanted to know he's up coming plans so he asked about an album prior to the mixtape. He lets us know his main focus is exposure , people everywhere to get familiar with the face && the name. His next move is to be successful out his city on the map and for the industry to recognize and to respect his craft.
